So what is the difference between Kitto and Soro? Soro writes and publishes on a schedule, and the fact checking is yours. Kitto runs each draft through a quality gate first, marks the claims it could not verify, holds the article for you by default, and does not spend a credit on an article that fails.
What Kitto costs to find out, and how you stop paying

Here is what Soro does better than us, before anything else, because a comparison with no good word in it is an advert. Every Soro SEO review we could find agrees on roughly the same strengths, and all are checkable on public pages.
- Getting started is genuinely simple. Soro frames setup as entering your website link, after which it learns your site in minutes (trysoro.com).
- The WordPress plugin is the most established on this shelf: 10,000 or more active installations, version 1.4.2 (installs checked 9 September 2026). It sets meta descriptions and focus keywords for Yoast SEO, Rank Math and All in One SEO, pings IndexNow for faster discovery on Bing, and can publish as Draft (wordpress.org).
- It reaches a few platforms we do not: WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Notion, HubSpot, Ghost and Next.js plus webhooks (trysoro.com). Kitto publishes to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer and by webhook, and does not yet reach Notion, HubSpot, Ghost or Next.js.
- It connects to Google Search Console and reports impressions per article (trysoro.com), a real advantage over several tools here, and it reads the same source we do.

Soro pricing against Kitto pricing, and why Soro is cheaper on the annual plan
Soro's published rate is $39 a month (trysoro.com/pricing, checked 9 September 2026), with an annual plan advertised at a lower monthly rate (trysoro.com/pricing, checked 9 September 2026). Growth is $49 a month for 30 credits, with 20 percent off when paid yearly.
If price is the only thing you are comparing, Soro wins and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What $49 buys instead is a check before publishing, a credit back when a draft fails it, and 30 days to change your mind rather than 14.
Two details belong next to that number. The pricing page carries a 50 percent off banner and a countdown, so screenshot whatever you are quoted today. And the tier grid is not published, so the price for the volume you want cannot be looked up before you sign in. Where the topic comes from
Soro: a content calendar, without a difficulty signal
Soro describes the topic step as finding which keywords will get you visible, then writing the content (trysoro.com). We went through its public pages and plugin documentation on 9 September 2026 and found no keyword difficulty figure in the interface, and no explanation of why a given topic was chosen. Choosing topics without that estimate is choosing with one eye closed.
Kitto: an opportunity map, and your own Search Console if you connect it
Kitto builds the map from professional SEO data pulled by API, the same class of search volume and live results data that tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush are built on, and sharpens it with your own Search Console history when you connect it. Search Console is the free Google report of which queries already bring your site impressions, including where you sit just outside page one (Search Console Help). Connecting it is recommended, not required: the map works without it. Each card explains in plain words why that topic was chosen, so you can disagree before a credit is spent.
Where Kitto is behind, in one place rather than scattered through the page: it does not yet reach Notion, HubSpot, Ghost or Next.js the way Soro does, and it is new enough to have no independent reviews. What happens to the facts inside the article
Ask whether the tool checks the facts before it publishes them. Soro does not describe a step that does. We read its own pages and plugin documentation on 9 September 2026 and found no fact check described as a feature, which puts the verification on you, on every article.
Two things look like quality control and are not the same. The check shown before publishing is about form: a meta description, internal links, alt text on images, readable sentences (trysoro.com). A draft can satisfy every one of those and still contain a number nobody can source. Google's own guidance asks whether content has easily verified factual errors, and names clear sourcing among the things that make it trustworthy (Google Search Central).
Kitto treats this as a stage rather than a score. Claims are checked against sources, and the gate marks the ones it could not verify, so you know what to look at. Nothing is quietly deleted, because a deleted sentence hides the problem. The gate awards no mark either: it decides, publish or do not.

What goes live on your domain, and when
Will it publish junk on your site? That is the right question to ask of any tool here, ours included, and it has three parts.
- What runs by default. Soro advertises daily automatic publishing, and its plugin can publish as Draft instead (wordpress.org). An override you have to know about is not a default you cannot miss. With Kitto, showing you the first few articles is preselected, and automatic publishing is one click away.
- Why volume without a check is a risk in itself. Not our opinion: Google's spam policies define scaled content abuse as generating many pages mainly to manipulate rankings rather than help people, and name using generative AI to make many pages without adding value as an example (Google Search spam policies).
- What a failed draft costs you. A credit is the unit we bill in, one per published article. A draft that fails the gate is not published, and the credit returns to your balance. Unused credits stay usable for 3 months. Neither product sells links, and we never will: no exchanges, no paid placements, no networks.
On being tied in: everything Kitto writes goes into your own WordPress, so it is yours to export, edit or delete, and it stays if you cancel. Publishing is capped at 2 articles a day per site on Growth, a deliberate ceiling, because thirty unread pages in a week is the failure this page is about.
Where you look to see whether it worked
Soro's reporting shows article level impressions from Search Console, and its own site describes nothing beyond that: we found no backlink data, technical audit, rank tracking or AI visibility tracking listed as features (trysoro.com, checked 9 September 2026), so a separate tracker stays on your list.
Kitto reads the result from your own Search Console, the same pages before and after. The Performance report shows clicks, impressions, click through rate and average position by query and by page (Search Console Help). There are no forecast traffic figures in the product, because nobody can honestly promise a position or a visitor count. You see what was published, what was checked, what was flagged and what your queries did next, and the record stays with you if you cancel.

Soro fits you if your site runs on Ghost, Notion, HubSpot or Next.js, since Kitto does not reach those yet; if the annual price decides it; if you are comfortable fact checking yourself; or if you would rather buy a product with years of reviews behind it.
Kitto fits you if you would rather see which claims could not be verified than read every draft in full; if you do not want to pay for an article that has to be thrown away; and if you want the before and after read from your own Search Console.
